Your how many fingers?

Good evening/ morning/ afternoon...think that covers it for the time differences!

So...it has been raining here heavy and rather nippy shall we say. The garden is loving it...but so are the weeds! So finally today we got some sun and no rain and we managed to get outside and get the trellis finished that we were painting and some weeding. Now time to get this blog post done that I have been doing since wed!!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-

Fussy and Fancy Friday challenge - Celebration...this is for a friends 40th.
lovely hAnglar or Sweet Magnolia- Anything goes
Magnolia-licious challenge blog- Anything goes with the option of bows
Midweek Magnolias- Anything goes
Sweet Stampers Challenge blog- Dies and/or punches

I used a Tilda from the latest collection the 'Denim' collection and she looks so cute in her little jeans and outfit. I coloured miss Tilda with Distress inks. The papers are from a new fave company of mine called 'Craft and You' and are available at Noor! Design UK. I used dies from Go Kreate for the body of the card, from little darlings rubber stamps, Magnolia and the numbers are from Tim Holtz die.

I used pink sparkly paper because everyone likes a bit of glam on their birthday! I used flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I added some square pink rhinestones and a blue flat back rhinestone to her ponytail and centre of bow.

Now for the sentiment inside...I love it. Isnt it perfect! Its from Inkadinkado and the set comes with some awesome things that kids have said.

Hope you have a great weekend.

Now...this card was made for a very special couple who I have known forever, esp the lady who I have had the pleasure of being friends with since we were 4. And they finally got their wish and were granted with the most beautiful little boy this year. Heart bursts for them as they are simply fabulous. So of course had to make a card...and I love this image its perfect for a new arrival.

I coloured Mr. Stork with Distress inks. The papers....ahhh arnt they fab are from Maja Design Bundle of Joy. They are beautiful papers as always but the little teddy bears and elephants are just simply perfect.

The dies...are a mix of Go Kreate for the shape of the card. The rest are from the Magnolia Doo Hickey kit and isnt the smiling star lovely and from regular Magnolia dies too.

I added a pearl trim to the card which is from Noor! Design UK. The baby zipper charm (which i had to change to a star as it wouldnt have survived the post back to England) is from my stash and I think from Prima and the hat pin is from Noor! Design also.

I added some Nuvu jewel drops and some flat back rhinestones to finish off.

Hope you have a great weekend.

Endless summer...

Hiya everyone!

wowzers what a weather week it has been there. Tuesday it absolutely poured down with rain. Really heavy and grey skies all day. Then Wednesday arrives and since then its been stunning. So much so that I have been sat in garden reading. Its beautiful. So this is why I ended up doing a summer card as its really is like and Endless Summer as although we are in winter it is stunning.

All about Magnolia Challenge blog- All about anything goes
Magnolia-licious challenge blog- Anything goes with the option of masking
Marvelous Magnolia Challenge blog- Anything goes
Midweek Magnolias Challenge blog- Anything goes
Paradise of Magnolia challenge blog

So for this card I went all out with the dies and the colours!

I used Hawaiian Tilda from the stamp and cutz release. I love the palm tree that went with her and that features four times on here so shows you how much I do like it lol. I cracked open the Prisa colour pencils for this one and got to it. I keep practicing with them!

The papers are from Blue Fern Studio 'seaside cottage' and I love this as everyone knows I love the sea and the beach!

The dies! Well the card shape is from Go Kreate. I used dies from Magnolia for the majority of the card. The bikini is from Joy Crafts which can be found at Noor! Design UK. The little sand dollar found next to the sentiment is from Spellbinders and the sentiment is from a La La Land crafts stamp.

I used some metallic blue watercolour paints for the background. On Tilda's flowers I added some Nuvo drops to the centres and also on her bracelet. The coconut are sparklets from Kaisercraft. Of course there had to be a charm and I added a little flamingo.

Indian Tilda

Morning all!

Hope we are all well. Its bank hol here in Western Australia for WA Day. Its supposed to be winter here but the weather is just gorgeous. Its so beautiful and the mornings and nights are fresh. Beautiful time of year.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-

Midweek Magnolias - Dies or chippies
Deep Ocean Challenge blog- bingo- shaped card /pearls/ die cuts
Marvelous Magnolia challenge blog- Anything goes

For this card I decided that I would get the Prismacolour penicls out again. Im just starting with them and slowly getting there. They are rather different to my Distress Inks thats for sure! Learning volour combos etc its a learning curve!

I used Indian Tilda from a release a couple of year back. She is adorable and I love the pose and her outfit. The papers are from Kaisercrafts old collection 'Paradiso' . I wanted to use different colours than I normally use so this collection was perfect for that. Plus they have gorgeous metallic elements to the papers which i loved for this.

The shape of the card is from Go Kreate. The die cut that Tilda is stamped on is from Little Darlings. The rest of the days are Magnolia bar the beautiful lace die which is under Tilda and that is from Fantasy dies which can be found at Noor! Design UK. These are new dies to me and I am loving them.

The sentiment is from a La La Land Crafts.

The little wood chippie is a campfire and is from Scrapiniec and these are also found at Noor!Design. I added a little orange rhinestone to the middle of the campfire.

Around Tilda I used some of the Magnolia Feather stamps and these are stamped in Distress Ink Pumice Stone, bit of a light grey colour so they are in the background. I love this feather stamp. I added some Nuvo jewel drops in cream to Tilda's necklace.

Now the gold colour around her is from a metallic watercolour paint that I have just started playing with and so far I am impressed. I feel they might be getting used a lot!!!

Hope you have a good week.

GDT for Paradise of Magnolia

Hi all

I am here today with a post as Guest Designer at Paradise of Magnolia and the challenge this time is a fave 'Flowers' and we all love our flowers dont we!!

For this card I used 'Tilda binding flowers' she is a kinda boho chic hippy chick to me. I think she looks gorgeous with her long hair and festival ready with her flower hair band.

I used papers from Maja Design 'Vintage Autumn basics' and as I dont really do a lot of purple I thought that this might give me a bit of a challenge. I coloured Tilda in Distress inks and to get the shade I wanted I mixed Aged Mahogany with Wild Violet.

The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts and I love these poppies. The brads are from my stash as is the grey lace and the purple ribbon.

The pearl pin is from Noor! Design UK and the metal corner is also from my stash.

Hope you can pop across and join us.

Have a fab week.

The dies....the die that Tilda is stamped on and behind her is from Little Darlings Rubber stamps and can be found at Noor!Design UK.  The rest of the dies are from Magnolia except for the tiny tags with the rhinestone brads, they are from a Tim Holtz die.

The pearl string around the image is also from Noor!Design UK. The flowers..the main large one is from Magnolia, the long pink and cream flowers are from Prima,  and the rest are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The pin is also from Noor!Design.

On Tilda's wings I used clear Wink of Stella glitter pens. On the fussy cut butterflies, from the Pion collection, I sprayed them with Tattered Angels glimmer mist. To add to the pearl theme I added bronze pearl hearts around her and a pink heart to her hairband.

the bunny is on his way....

Happy Friday peoples!

Now can you believe Easter is literally just round the corner. Heck this year is speeding by. Today's card is an interactive card, always a lot of fun to make but the best part is seeing peoples faces when they realise that an element moves.

I would like to enter the following challenges-

Alphabet Challenge blog- 'B' is for bunnies!
All about Magnolia Challenge blog- All about Easter/Spring
Craft Heaven Inspiration and Challenge blog- Keep calm and love Spring
Deep Ocean Challenge blog- Spring
Fussy and Fancy Friday challenge blog- Embellish it
lovely hAnglar or Sweet Magnolia - Anything goes
Magnolia Forever - Spring
Marvelous Magnolia Challenge blog- Flowers
Magnolia-licious Challenge blog- Anything goes with the option of metal

Sooo for this card and with Easter and Spring (autumn here but i still think spring is this time of year lol!) i could not resist using Little Hoppy again. Front and centre this time. He looks so peaceful and happy. I coloured Hoppy with Distress Inks. The papers are from the ever fabulous Pion Design.

Now for the interactive part. This is a super cool die from My Favourite Things Surf and Turf die. This allows you to make things move on the card...so I used it to make Hoppy spring along and over a fence lol. Its such a cool die and I feel this might be getting used a whole lot more- be warned!!!

The die cuts are all from Magnolia bar the ivy die climbing up the side which is from Noor! Design UK as is the 'Happt Spring' die cut.

The lace along the die at the bottom of the card is from my local haberdashery shop.

The flowers are divine and are a mix from Noor!Design UK  and Wild Orchid Crafts.

To finish off I added the new awesome Nuvo crystal drops, just dotted around on the leaves and die cuts and a metal charm of a hummingbird.

Hope you have a great weekend.
